Clinical Trials are studies of New Cancer Treatment Methods. If a woman has tried all treatment options for her type of cancer and they are not working or if a woman has limited treatment options, she may consider enrolling in a clinical trial.
The treatments studied in a clinical trial may be the latest innovations, but there is no guarantee that the cancer will be cured. Women should extensively discuss treatment options with their physicians.
