The Margie Petersen Breast Center at John Wayne Cancer Centers at Saint John’s Health Center offers treatment for benign breast disease as well as a comprehensive approach to the detection and management of breast cancer in its earliest forms. Cutting-edge research is performed under the umbrella of the John Wayne Cancer Institute (JWCI) at Saint John’s, which supports and maintains research laboratories and administrative structure of the breast program.
The Breast Center, founded by Armando Giuliano, MD, offers a compassionate and comprehensive approach to the detection and management of breast cancer in its earliest forms. Patients are evaluated for multi-modality treatment-Surgery, Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy and/or Hormonal Therapy-by a team of physicians and nurses.
