Biography
Jason Seth Cohen, MD, FACS, is a surgical oncologist specializing in benign and malignant diseases of the thyroid and parathyroid, as well as breast cancer. Dr. Cohen believes in treating his patients like they are members of his own family and supports and guides them through each step of treatment. His emphasis on minimally invasive surgery helps his patients recover quickly with less scarring and often less pain. Dr. Cohen is also the only surgeon in the Los Angeles area trained in robotic (Da Vinci) thyroid surgery.
Dr. Cohen comes to Saint John’s from Cedar-Sinai, where he is an attending surgical oncologist. Previously he served as the Director of the Cedars-Sinai Surgical Oncology Clinic. He currently is a member of the Los Angeles Surgical Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
