Lori Walker, RD, graduated from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn., having majored in Dietetics and minored in Distributive Sciences before completing a dietetic internship at Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C.

She has now been in the field for several years and is a registered dietitian, in addition to holding a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and serving as a member of the American Dietetic Association Oncology Dietetic Practice Group. She is also on the nominating committee for the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Dietetic Association.

Walker enjoys working with cancer patients to improve their quality of life through nutrition. She works hard to get to know her patients and enjoys being involved in their treatment and recovery process. According to Walker, it is exciting to be able to empower people by providing education that enables them to change their lives and see those changes take place.

She finds Saint John's Health Center to be a wonderful place to work and thinks the quality of care patients receive at Saint John's is unsurpassed.
