Parking

NOTE: During our phased construction there may be street closures and rerouting of traffic. For the latest information and for questions relating to directions, please call the Parking Office at (310) 829-8012. Outside normal business hours, please call the Saint John's Health Center main number, (310) 829-5511.

The entrances to both Saint John's parking lots are on Santa Monica Boulevard, between 23rd and 20th streets. All parking is by valet only (no self-park lots are available, due to limitations imposed by construction).  

The valet Lot C is located on the north side of Santa Monica Boulevard, immediately beyond (west of) U.S. Bank. 

The Denney Court valet lot is located further west along the north side of Santa Monica Boulevard. This lot is designated for out-patient parking and emergency room access.

A limited number of metered parking places are available on surrounding streets.

There is a parking structure at the 2001 Medical Building. The parking entrance is on the East side of 20th street, just North of Santa Monica Boulevard. 

Parking Rates

NOTE: Saint Johns does not validate in the parking structure or the health center.

$12.00 flat rate*

*Emergency Room & Valet Lot C allow 15 minutes for quick drop-offs and pick-ups. Normal parking rates apply after exceeding the 15 minute grace period.

  • Parking $12.00
  • 24-hour in/out pass $30.00
  • 7-day weekly pass $95.00
  • All rates include a 10 percent city parking tax.

Due to construction and limited parking availability, the above rates apply to all patients and visitors to Saint John's, including those with a handicapped plaque.

Main Entrance

The main entrance is through the valet parking on the north side of Santa Monica Boulevard just west of 23rd Street A friendly concierge will greet you and direct you to the main entrance to the hospital through the Chan Soon-Shiong Center for Life Sciences.

The permanent entrance to the front of the Howard Keck Center will be open in the coming months.
