Insurance Information

Insurance (As of February 1, 2008)

Saint John's accepts a wide range of insurance plans to better suit the needs of its patients. It is our goal to be able to treat the greatest number of patient's possible and to try and work with our patients health care and financial needs.  For a complete list of Saint John's managed care contracts and to see if your insurance plan is covered, choose from the following:

  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Contracts Commercial
  • Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Contracts Senior
  • Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Contracts

Saint John's will provide you with an estimate of your cost based on your specific health coverage. After submitting a completed pre-registration form, please contact our financial counseling department at 310-829-8376 for assistance in planning your stay with us. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The estimated uninsured portion of your account is payable prior to admission.  We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, as well as checks and cash payment.  Prices are for hospital charges only and do not include charges for physicians.  Please ask your insurance company in advance about coverage for early discharge, circumcision or any other coverage which you may be unsure about.
